Ayaskala is a literary magazine trying to build a community and a safe space for conversations around mental health. Our primary focus is to create and curate a variety of art and content, presenting the multi-faceted nature of mental health purely through art-forms like poetry, short stories, CNF, photography – essentially anything art.
Ayaskala was found in May 2018 by a then high school student to find an inter-sectional way to converse about mental health using a tool that deep down resonates with every human being – art.
The future holds great scope for Ayaskala; the magazine is eventually planning to expand into print circulation, hosting workshops offline & online, organising art events offline & online, etc.
“I do not like to dwell much in the outcome of this project, my satisfaction lies in its journey and the growth it brings along.”Vaishnavi Sharma, Founder & EIC
